Connect is a Swedish owned Guesthouse located in
the Paradise Complex area of Patong Beach on Phuket Island in Thailand.
You can book any of our 25 rooms trough our automatic on-line reservation
system.

web site we have photos from all rooms and you can even take a look at the
view out trough the window from all rooms.
At Connect you can book Budget rooms
(starting from 400thb/night in low season), Standard, Superior and
Penthouse rooms.

We are located
central in the middle of the Gay area yet only 5 minutes walk way to the
beach. Gay sauna, shopping and nearly 20 gay entertainment places are
located just around the corner.
Male guest staying at Connect have one free entry to The Gay sauna/day
included in the room rate.
Yes, this is a gay area but we are very "straight friendly".
We are a member of TATA (Thailand Alternative Travel Association.
We have 19
rooms in Connect-1 and 6 rooms in our annex Connect-2.
All Connect
rooms has Air conditioning, cable TV, Telephone, LAN Internet connection,
kettle for coffee and tea, private bathrooms with hot shower.
Connect-1 is
our original building with our restaurant. It was totally renovated in
2002. All guest rooms are now with air conditioning and they are bigger
and better. Double glass windows keep the street noise out for a good
night sleep. All bathrooms are brand new and have hot water shower.
Connect restaurant and Internet corner have Air conditioning.
Connect is located right in
the heart of the Gay area "Paradise Complex" in Patong Beach on Phuket
Island. Over 20 Gay venues including the Boat Bar Disco and My Way Bar are
on your door step and a short 5 minutes walk takes you to the Beach or an
even shorter walk leads you the Gay Sauna. Shopping and the nearest bank
with ATM-machine are just around the corner as well as most of the
entertainment you might be looking for. Transport from airport is easy
arranged with an airport taxi. Tell the driver to go to Patong Beach,
Paradise Complex (way in), Connect Guesthouse and you will be here after a
40 minutes drive .
You have several choices for you to to
from the airport to Patong Beach and Connect guesthouse.
1. Go by shared mini bus. Fare 150 THB (not recommended because they will
drive you around to several places and might even tell you that we are
closed and persuade you to stay somewhere else.
2. Meter Taxi. Fare around 450 THB. You have
to go out from the airport building across the entire parking lot and you
find them in the corner. Meter taxi are not allowed to pick up customers
in front of the airport building. Please be aware that some meter taxi
stops at a travel agency on the way and ask you where you stay. Sometimes
they even try to accommodate you in other hotels where they have
commission. If this happens to you, please tell the driver and travel
agency that you will report them to TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand)
and to the Police.
3. Airport Taxi limousine service. Fare is
550 THB to Patong . You have to book your taxi at the taxi counter inside
the airport building.
4. We arrange pick up for you. You will e
met by a driver holding a sign with your name on it. He will drive you
safely to Patong and Connect. The fare is 600 THB. If you want to use our
service we need to know your reservation number at Connect, flight
details, arrival time and if your flight is domestic or International
because there are two separate exit doors. Send this information by e-mail
and wait for our reconfirmation e-mail with your taxi reservation number.
At the airport DO NOT go to the Taxi counter, they will be very
helpful but not when it comes to find your driver.
If for some reason you are changing flight or are delayed please inform us
immediately.
5. Private Minibus. If you travel 3 persons
or more I recommend pick up by private minibus. The taxi used here are
usually small and take only 2 persons with luggage. Same arrangements as
in 4. Price 800 THB for up to 8 persons. |
